4.5 Update#
First of all, Depay is finally working fine now, the recovery was quite fast. I successfully activated my card. I'm excited because I can finally use advanced services from abroad. This is the importance of earning foreign exchange. The whole process cost me 2d and it accounts for 10% of the total.
Then, I kept trying to apply for openAI, but it kept showing that my bank card was rejected (I followed the GhatGPT Plus tutorial). I have been using the US node all along, and I couldn't fill in the postal code for the European node, I don't know how to use it.
Later, I saw on the v2ex forum that someone suggested using the Taiwan node (I also saw this in Depay's Telegram group), so I tried it and it actually worked!
Nice~
Just to add: I have been using the earliest account to apply all along, so the risk control must be quite high after so many rejections. When I switched to the Taiwan node, I used the signal from the registration I did yesterday. It really worked in just one try. Happy.
4.4 Update#
By registering a new account, I registered a new one and reached a level of $5 with only $0.5.
4.3 Update#
Depay is down... It was attacked by hackers: DEPAY Maintenance
- I'm out as soon as I arrived.

Things to note:
- When registering for Ouyi, the link provided earlier is for accessing it within China, it cannot be accessed from abroad. Only the link for accessing it within China allows the use of WeChat, Alipay, etc. Do not use a VPN.
- After recharging Ouyi, the assets will be frozen for 7 days, during which they cannot be withdrawn. (Confirmed with customer service).
- The result of the communication is that it is possible to appeal. Under "My Assets," you can view the locked assets and click on "Appeal." The appeal requires account level and also requires KYC identity verification, but the verification process is very fast.
- The appeal was rejected and I need to upload one month's bank card statement. My mobile banking app does not provide this UI. Oh well, I'll wait.
- The commission for withdrawing from Ouyi is 1-2 USDT.
The Ouyi mobile app cannot be used without facial recognition, but it's strange because I haven't linked it before.- After registering for Depay, applying for a free card requires an ID card. The review process is relatively fast and it was approved.
- Asked Li Da to recommend Binance. Registration requires KYC identity verification. It takes some time for the review.
Summary:
- Recharge Ouyi, but it takes 7 days to withdraw. (It's a long time) The fee is 1 USD.
- Wait for Binance's verification, about one day. Check its fees.
- Depay has a monthly fee of 1 USD after card activation. The recharge fee is 1.36%. However, the first recharge requires using coins for activation, and after activation, it may be possible to use Alipay and other payment methods by linking them.
